Our Projects

The Lunenburg Lions Club raises funds throughout the year to help fund the Massachusetts Lions Eye Research Fund that was formed in 1951.

Classic Cruise Night is a town-wide event is sponsored by the Lunenburg PTO, Boys and Girls Club of Lunenburg, Lunenburg Turkey Hill Family Lions Club and Lunenburg Community Food Pantry.

Every year we support up to 4 students to attend the Massachusetts Lions All State Band weekend. If interested, please contact your school music department.

Every year the Lunenburg Turkey Hill Family Lions Club gives away 𝟏40 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐬𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐤𝐞𝐭𝐬 to those families with food insecurity. The baskets are filled with ingredients for a hearty, healthy holiday meal. Learn more about how you can help.

The Lions Club recycles Christmas trees shortly after the 1st of the year. Don't let your tree go to waste, bring it to us for recycling and feed the goats! Stay tuned here and on our Facebook page for dates.

Our yearly Lions Club tradition of decorating the Gazebo and putting up a Christmas tree to be lit when Santa comes to visit. Join us as we come together to celebrate the spirit of giving and create cherished memories for our community.

Lions clubs around the globe have been sponsoring a very special art contest in schools and youth groups. Creating peace posters gives children everywhere the chance to express their visions of peace and inspire the world through art and creativity. Local winners have their art sent to district, state and possibly international competitions!

At the heart of Lunenburg, the Turkey Hill Family Lions Club stands tall as a beacon of hope and support for those in need. As steadfast champions of the Lunenburg Community Food Pantry, we offer a helping hand through Volunteerism and Fundraising.

Lions partner with community leaders to screen young children, primary school students, and adults, who otherwise cannot afford to do so, to identify those at risk for vision loss. Contact us through the schools or directly.

The Lions Club, working together with the Lunenburg High School, support 4 scholarships to Lunenburg High School Seniors.
The Lions Club also support a scholarship exclusively to a family member of a Lunenburg Lion in good standing.

Hop on over and join us for an egg-citing tradition at the annual Easter Egg Grab! With over 5,000 eggs filled with treats, the fun awaits next to Connor Lourens Playground at TC Passios. This event is free for all Lunenburg residents, thanks to the generous sponsorship of the Lunenburg Turkey Hill Family Lions Club and Coldwell Banker Realty/Lynn Walsh Properties.
