Lions International: Peace Poster Competition

Lions clubs around the globe have been sponsoring a very special art contest in schools and youth groups. Creating peace posters gives children everywhere the chance to express their visions of peace and inspire the world through art and creativity. Local winners have their art sent to district, state and possibly international competitions!

For over three decades, Lions clubs around the globe have been sponsoring a very special art contest in schools and youth groups. Creating peace posters gives children everywhere the chance to express their visions of peace and inspire the world through art and creativity.

For peace to be anything more than a possibility, we need to make it a priority. This year, we’re asking our young students to create a poster that speaks to our world’s infinite potential for kindness once we commit to pursuing the idea of peace without limits. Students ages 11, 12 or 13 as of November 15 are eligible to participate in the International Peace Poster Contest. You would be participating in the local, district, state and international contests!

October 1st: Peace Poster kickoff for Lunenburg students

November 6th: Peace Poster judging by Lions Club members

November 15: Postmark deadline for a club to send one winning poster (per contest sponsored) to the district governor.

February 1: International winners notified on or before this date.
